I Feel As If I Might Be Vanishing, 2025

Watercolor on paper enclosed in custom frame
17.75” x 13.5” x 2”

I Feel as If I Might Be Vanishing is part of a larger body of work consisting of two dimensional and three-dimensional sculptural pieces that reinterpret the Catholic reliquary. Rather than treating the reliquary as a vessel for preserving the remains of a saint, the artist approaches it as a site of refusal, through which she examines structural gender norms, the unstable boundary between sainthood and sexuality, and the constraints of femininity she wishes to discard.
