35mm SLR Photography Workshop

Westlab + Gallery hosts one-day intensive introductory workshop on 35mm SLR photography. The workshop is held one Sunday most months of the year from 11am-4pm. The coursework covers the fundamentals of proper exposure, SLR camera operation, a brief overview of the history of photography, theory, and includes a shooting exercise culminating in a group critique.

Workshop Includes:

-One roll of Ilford XP2 Super 400 film
-Developing, Scanning, and 4x6 Printing for workshop film
-Full day of instruction with printed materials and notes
-One additional develop  + scan credit for future use
-Coffee :-)

Cost:
$175

Participant Requirments:

-35mm SLR camera with full manual operation (with a functioning light meter preferred!)

*There will be a cap of 8 participants per session. We are also working towards making cameras available to borrow for the workshop, and offering fully subsidizing seats in the class based on need in the future.
