Tyler DeHaarte (he/him) is a Brooklyn-based Black photographer and visual artist working at the intersection of memory, history, and lived experience. His practice centers Black communities through portraiture and long-term, research-driven projects that challenge dominant cultural myths and expand Black visual language. Tyler builds relationships with the people he photographs, creating images rooted in trust, care, and presence.
