Pushing the Frame: Willful Transgressions
March 8, 2026 — April 26, 2026

Sierra Francesca Enea (she/they) is a multidisciplinary collage artist, memory keeper, and guide exploring the synergy between still and moving images and the language of archives. In her practice, she works with visual fragments—both found and self-produced—as a means of recovery that (re)establishes her family archive, the memory of her loved ones, and her personal history. For Enea, collage functions as both a language and a method. She listens to the energy of her materials and registers the intangible frequencies of the present, developing a co-creative language with images, one where she is guided to each composition. Her works emerge as visual poetics that trace how memories held within the body are unveiled and how disparate fragments, when (re)contextualized, can be assembled into reflections of our body’s implicit knowledge.
