Acrylic on found furniture
24.25” x 24” x 24.5”

Gonzalez salvages abandoned furniture from the streets of Bushwick and transforms them with color to visualize her own personal struggles. Using vibrant colors, traditional symbols, and imagined patterns, the artist maps visceral emotions to build a bridge with the audience, reflecting on how personal narrative can play out on reclaimed wooden structures and provide a surface for healing.
